Where to go

Argentina

Argentina is one of South America’s giants – both in terms of size and what it offers. From thundering waterfalls and mighty glaciers to soaring mountains and the dusty desert, Argentina is a true heavyweight when it comes to natural beauty, and there is so much to do.

Belize

Belize is a wonderfully diverse and interesting place to visit. Despite its small size there are many different landscapes, peoples and nature to be encountered here.

Salar de Uyuni, Salt Flats, Bolivia

Bolivia

Bolivia sits smack bang in the middle of some of South America’s giants – both in terms of size and popularity. However, it more than holds it own thanks to its incredible diversity. This is where you’ll find Andean highlands, Amazon jungle, expansive plains and thousands of square miles of salt flats.

Brazil

Brazil is one of the largest and most diverse countries in the world, rich with culture and presenting a miscellany of sensational experiences.

Chile

Chile stretches for more than half the entire length of South America, flanked by the Pacific to the west and the Andes to the east. The country is home to an incredible diversity of dramatic landscapes, and there’s no shortage of exciting things you can do there.

Colombia

The gateway to South America, Colombia does a wonderful job of introducing people to this incredible continent. Its diversity is staggering: golden beaches, arid desert, lush rainforest and vibrant cities sit snug within its borders and it is surrounded by not one but two oceans.

Costa Rica

From jungle waterfalls and incredible wildlife to white sand beaches and coffee plantations, Costa Rica is a Central American destination that really packs a punch.

santa-clara-cuba

Cuba

A trip to Cuba is one that will ignite the senses. From the faded grandeur of Havana and the colourful colonial city of Trinidad, to the patchwork of tobacco fields in Vinales and the powder-white sands of the Caribbean coast, it is a country that seems to have it all. Couple this with a population whose love for music and for life itself is contagious, and you’ve got an island nation unlike anywhere else.

Ecuador

Ecuador is a beautiful and exceptionally varied country with a range of distinct geographical environments. From the coastal region, where you’ll find Guayaquil, the country’s biggest city and main port to the Galapagos Islands, to the highlands of the Andes where beautiful mountain scenery and indigenous communities await, there is so much to discover.

Two Galapagos Sea Lions Frolic Together Underwater

Galapagos

Surely one of the most amazing places on Earth, the Galapagos Islands are perhaps the only place in the world where you can see wildlife so close up. The lack of large predators on the island group (which sits 600 miles from the Ecuadorian mainland) means that its iconic wildlife – giant tortoises, vibrant birdlife, inquisitive sea lions and so much more – are fearless of humans.

Guatemala

This lush land of volcanoes, serene highland lakes and generous swathes of rolling jungle, also comes rich in colonial Spanish and pre-Colombian Mayan heritage. The magical site of Tikal ensconced in emerald jungle is reason enough alone to visit, then again there is the exquisite, and earthquake-defying, baroque architecture of Antigua too.

Mexico

Mexico is a captivating patchwork of regions that vary in their cultural quirks, dynamic cuisine and breathtaking natural sights.

San Blas Islands, Panama - Aerial Drone Top Down View of two Sail boats

Panama

From swimming with turtles in translucent blue seas to trekking through some of the world’s best rainforests, roaming captivating cities to visiting one of the seven indigenous groups. Panama is an explosion of wildlife, adventure, culture and relaxation all on a narrow stretch of land.

Llamas at first light at Machu Picchu, Peru

Peru

Peru really does have it all: fascinating culture, great food, welcoming people and of course some truly epic scenery.

Uruguay

Uruguay has the beaches, lively resorts, chic beachfront hotels and laid-back shoreline posadas that Argentina lacks. So these two countries are well-matched should you be looking for a bit of everything.
